Mulch Services, Inc. (MSI) was established in early 2014 to provide a strategic and sustainable solution for material generated through large-scale land clearing operations.
Our roots trace back to 2008, when Moorhead Brothers, Inc. (MBI) was founded as a family-owned business. Since its inception, MBI has grown into one of the largest right-of-way clearing contractors in the Southeast, delivering dependable, high-quality services across a wide range of infrastructure and utility projects. As MBI’s operations expanded, the need for an efficient and environmentally responsible method for managing excess organic material became increasingly evident.
In response, Mulch Services, Inc. was formed to convert cleared material into high-quality mulch products, reducing waste while creating value for commercial, municipal, and residential customers. MSI leverages the scale, experience, and operational efficiencies of its affiliated clearing operations to ensure consistent supply, product reliability, and timely delivery.
Today, Mulch Services, Inc. operates with a focus on operational excellence, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
